Hyundai Sports Club Back in Action!
After having a break from everything due to a back injury gained from racing a few weeks ago I have had way too much time to let my head tick and come up with new and exciting ideas that I can implement to make more cash!
Instead of jumping on any new ventures just yet I have decided to look at some of my more established web sites and see how I can push them on to make more money as a “basic” that can be earned.
The first site that I have started working on is www.hyundaisportsclub.com. This is a site I set up last year to be a community for Hyundai owners and of course to also make a little extra cash. I personally own a Hyundai Coupe which can be seen in the gallery of the site and this gives me a little more incentive to make the site work.
Up until recently the site was running on the Drupal framework, however when the old hosting provider (who shall remain nameless) screwed things up I ended up losing a good few weeks of data. This forced the site offline for a while and indeed encouraged me to move to a new hosting provider (Site5) who I must say have exceeded every expectation and desire.
The Hyundai Sports Club is now running on the SiteX core framework which I have been actively involved in the development of over the last year or so. It is a rapidly expanding system that stays true to core values and functions that the users really need, rather than just funky stuff that the developers can do.
The template of the site is soon to be updated but is working for now while content starts to flow back in. I have since managed to get hold of the old database and will be looking to port the data over. The big issue now is getting things moving again really.
