I purchased a domain name quite some time back for a credit repair website and have been meaning to do something with it ever since. My time seemed to be taken up by DashboardMonkey and this new website.
Now is the time that I have decided I will grab my domain name thegoodcreditguide.com and set to work on trying to build it up into a 5050. You may be wondering what a 5050 is, well it’s a new name I have decided to use to describe sites that are 50% a good resource and 50% just there to make money. They may well be 50% blackhat and 50% whitehat as well, and as you can tell from that sentance it’s a good job I can just call it a 5050 site from now on.
The plan is to stick a wordpress or article live site up on the domain and initially start by publishing some free article content from article sites as well as a bit of original content to spread it out. I will then wait for some of the domains pages to saturate the search engines. Once this is done they are primed for picking up on my future content and changes and I can start to build content and links.
The key to this will be to give it a steady but constant growth. I don’t expect this site to bring me any return for a month or two, but I will post content to “niche” terms within the credit repair sector to bring some initial traffic, interest and backlinks.
The reason I am writing this post now is so that you can follow everything I do step by step and view the results along the way. I will try not to miss a detail and remember that you can always ask questions at any time by commenting on the posts or sending an email to me. I hope that you will enjoy the ride as much as me.
While writing this post I have just set up an account for the thegoodcreditguide.com domain over at site5 as I get unlimited accounts etc. Once the DNS updates on the domain I will set up the wordpress and start putting a theme and content up. Follow it and let me know your thoughts along the way.
