Most of us will use a stats package already. We are used to seeing where the users came from, what search terms they used, other websites that link to us etc. But many of us don’t actually track where the user runs off to when they are done abusing our websites.
I have just recently started using MyBlogLog, a new blog stats recording service that allows you to collect lots of great traffic information about the people coming in, and indeed leaving your blog / website. Read the rest of this entry »

I started promoting this almost a year ago but figured you may all be interested. I found a set of adsense videos that are available on CD. However they do offer some of them for free online. Well worth checking out, I own a copy and I must say they helped greatly. Especially with some of the “tips” that you normall don’t get.
Additionally, being able to see everything step by step rather than reading pages of text not only went to help make things clear, but it gave me so many new ideas and a new streak of motivation. In fact, im going to watch them again tonight.
Don’t forget you can discuss this in the forums

Busy busy busy, like a bee! A Money Making Bee! It seems that as usual I have been part of another exciting project that has just launched and I highly recommend bookmarking it now!
Why? Because it already has a massive number of quality site project ideas queued up for publishing over the coming days as well as the normal coverage of the latest products and money making news that you expect!
Yes this is a little bit of shameless self promotion as I had something to do with the site, however it should be of interest to all readers of Brighton Vibes and will indeed link back to here and the forums when appropriate.
So waste no more time and bookmark NetDosh.com today, or indeed add it to your RSS reader so you don’t miss out on the information that is soon to be published!

Once again I am running off head first into another project. Sometimes ideas hit me from the most random places, and on this occasion it was food!
Lots of people love Chocolate! Lots of people search for Chocolate cake recipes online. Choc + Choc lovers = search engine traffic directed at an easy to compile website. As such I am please to announce to you all that my latest project is the Chocolate Cake Recipes website. If you have any recipes yourself please feel free to submit them via the website.
The area is quite competitive and I could not get hold of the .com address but I have a good feeling about being able to get some good traffic coming to the site pretty quickly. As usual it is based on wordpress and has my full ping list that gets used each time I publish an article.

Just a little update for you all. Seems that Brighton Vibes just bobbed up to the front page on MSN for the term “Money Making Forums” which is quite nice. I know this is not a highly searched term (about 1000 searches per month) but it shows that the site is picking up and has started to bring in some more traffic from the web.
I will create a full rank check sheet shortly in WebCEO at which point I will be able to post easy comparisons and check many results on a daily basis to see how Brighton Vibes is doing. I will try to do the same for my project sites as well but that becomes quite a bit of hard work on my part which defeats the object of an AIS (Automated Income Stream), but we will see.

You may recall I recently wrote about my Hyundai Sports Club website that was going pretty well. It targets the Hyundai vehicle owners and has started to turn into a “club”, as such this is most certainly the ‘White Hat’ side of my projects.
The new idea is to open an online store to sell Hyundai Car Parts with particular reference to the Hyundai Coupe. I have found a supplier of pretty much everything available for Hyundai vehicles who are willing to ‘drop ship’ the products to customers. This means essentially I set up a store, fill it with their products, and forward the orders and money to them at their end at which point they take care of everything…. which is nice. Brighton Vibes member SarahG recently posted a forum topic letting us all know about a neat tool called Neat-o. This particular tool is very helpful for locating your unique backlinks on a website domain and as such may be of interest to the many readers of Brighton Vibes.
There are many free tools that can be found on the net with relation to SEO. I would be interested in hearing from you about any tools your find useful or think may be of interest to the other readers of Brighton Vibes. I may try to put together a comprehensive list when I get a moment, or you can post them in the new money making forums to see what other BV folk think.

I have been involved in the SEO industry for many years now and to this day I am still better than good at what I do. Just look at the PR5 this site got in a couple of weeks as discussed recently by all the regular readers.
Up until now I have been happy to share my knowledge and advice, but I have NEVER, I repeat, NEVER actually told anyone in forums, or verbally, about one particular product I have used for going on 6 years now. Read the rest of this entry »

Well after my initial announcement about the potential forums happening here on Brighton Vibes I really did get far more responses than I had expected. After having had a look at the stats for the site it seems that my reach has gone far further than I could have dreamt. Couple that with now being on page 3 in MSN and working the way up other search engines it seems that many people enjoy my writings and information.
As such I am now pleased to announce the new (if somewhat tatty looking at the moment) Brighton Vibes Forums relating to anything and everything to do with SEO, Marketing, Black Hat, White Hat, you name it! And if something is not covered just get in touch and I will look to fix the situation. Before you do anything else makes sure you register for free over at http://forums.guinchoguy.com as you can also be eligable to win an iPod because I am that thankful for all your support!
I let a few people in who begged me before the official opening but now the forums are available to all, including you, and to be honest, do you really want to miss out on this?

Just a quick update for all those that read. Seems that this site (Brighton Vibes) is now all the way up to page 3 in MSN for the term “Making Money Online“. That, is, well, fantastic news considering it gets searched roughly 8000+ times a month on MSN alone.
Additionally BV just got up to position 15 on the Top Blog Sites list. Keep coming by and soon we will get BV up to number 1! I do have one question that I keep asking myself though, what am I going to do with all this traffic?
I mentioned the forums already but I feel that I should keep Brighton Vibes true to it’s roots, and as such, you probably wont see much change. I don’t plan to plaster adverts everywhere, nor am I going to start promoting products all the time. Your thoughts are welcome, just figured you would want to share in the news!

Some of you may think this means that because you work at home you can have smelly breath and not worry about the impact that it has on your clients. I guess that is actually correct, however you will still get visitors at home, and when the dog runs away from you it’s deffo time you got that stinky breath sorted.
Don’t worry, this is not a health notice from the government. It is in fact the only way I could think of to introduce a new site I am working on. Regulars will know that I do normally stay well away from creating sites around a subject for money purposes. You only need to look at Dashboard Monkey to see that I like to work close with my sites in unique areas. Read the rest of this entry »
