My Best Kept SEO Secret

Auto Date Friday, April 14th, 2006

subwizI have been involved in the SEO industry for many years now and to this day I am still better than good at what I do. Just look at the PR5 this site got in a couple of weeks as discussed recently by all the regular readers.

Up until now I have been happy to share my knowledge and advice, but I have NEVER, I repeat, NEVER actually told anyone in forums, or verbally, about one particular product I have used for going on 6 years now.

When ever I set up a new site I use this program every time! And then I continue to use it once a month for all of my sites to ensure that everything works just fine. I have used this method for years and to be honest I am reluctant to say, however I have decided that if I am really going to be true to my plan of making this site a “diary” of what I do, I really need to detail every last detail.

The product I use is called Submission Wizzard. It is probably clear just from the name what it does; it submits websites. It is not quite as straight forward as that though. I don’t just put one single URL into the software. I create a profile for each of my sites and then create a set of details for almost every page, after which I submit all the pages to the extensive list of engines and directories that they constantly update.

The software is very cheap considering what it does and the benefit I have had. I am not telling you to go and buy the software, and I would never say it will work for you, however it is a bit of kit that I have always used even when all my other tools have changed, and I will never stop using it as far as I can see. Just thought you may all like to know really. :)

Is this considered a gray hat method? I downloaded the trial version but am a little apprehensive.

Whatever you do, if you try it *do not* put your real email address in any site submission info! And if you do, don’t click any confirm links from search engines. Bad bad mistake - I’ve had over 800 spams in the last 12 hours :(

Eh, not something I would use.. Let the search engines come to you, not you come to them..

And indeed I would never recommend any products for submitting your site etc.

The key is this software targets the lesser known sites and builds a nice base of backlinks for you. I have used it for many years and it still works for me.

    Just keeping the diary ;)
