That title can certainly sound like its very own innuendo, but in this instance it aptly heads this post on the online Adult genre of sites, pictures, videos and the other variations thereof.
I have read a few bloggers within our community lately that have been toying with getting into this particular area of website design. Indeed this is something that I have thought about giving a go myself over the years. Read the rest of this entry »

I found this a few weeks ago and am only now getting around to posting about it, never the less I feel it is worth sticking it up here for the rest of you.
The blending at this particular site is done within a forum structure. Obviously I have no idea about the CTR but I should think this is probably a great little converter. It’s given me a few ideas for blending out of the forum environment. Click thumb to see.

You’ve heard of the olden days when people would hunt for potential link partners. Well, those days are long gone and smart web masters are moving on to greater things, while decreasing their reciprocal link building effort.
If you are wondering what this new technique could be, it’s actually quite simple… in theory. It is known as linkbaiting. This is a strategy that brings links to a website simply because of the unique and popular content on a website. Read the rest of this entry »

With the help of Alex at DotComDosh I put together TextAnonymous.com around 2 weeks ago. Since then the site has been covered by a number of mobile portals, indexed by the search engines, had many hits, and is currently getting some amazing number one ranking positions in Google and MSN etc.
What is most exciting about all of this is that the site consists of just one page (two if you count the pop-up for the terms and conditions) but still gets these great rankings. Read the rest of this entry »

For those of you that may be interested I just moved blog.brightonvibes.com over here to GuinchoGuy.com in order to merge the domain names and content to one central resource.
I guess my main goal was to clean everything up in the process and start fresh, however there would be no point just ditching all my old rankings / backlinks to the blog.brightonvibes.com address. As such I had to do 2 things. Read the rest of this entry »

No, I do not mean a furtile treament course, I mean a “virus” type marketing campaign that spreads on it’s own due to how odd or interesting it is. I have started work on a brand spanking new Viral Campaign which I will announce here shortly.
The reason for me creating this campaign is 2 fold. Firstly I want to see if I can. Am I able to create something that will spread and be noted in many places, is it possible to create a viral campaign or do they create themselves? Read the rest of this entry »

I am in the mist of writing a very clear guide to setting up online stores for those of you that may normally struggle. I plan to cover everything from domains and hosting, through to software set up and general running of the store. I will even be including places to source your products from too.
What I want to know from you is what you would really like to have covered in the guide. Any particular areas that currently bamboozle you? Read the rest of this entry »

A couple of months ago I set up www.waterutopia.com as a new online store venture. The key reason for this was to start working with drop shipping companies (meaning not having to hold any stock) and also because there seemed to be a lack of any “quality” players within the market.
So far the store has been doing quite well. The recent good weather has given the shop a small surge in orders and enquiries, but generally the frequency of orders Read the rest of this entry »

Alas I have not found a minting or cash printing machine in my loft (or attic for the folks over the pond). What I have actually found is an old HP lazer / laser printer of mine that I threw up there a number of years back.
Upon seeing the tank sized beast I recalled that it prints pretty darn good prints. It also has a brand new toner cartridge sitting the other end of the roof just in case the one that’s in there no longer wants to play. This particular printer gave me a wonderfully interesting money making idea. Read the rest of this entry »
