As you know, I turned off the adwords account I had set up for waterutopia.com at the start of this month. Since then the site has been fully indexed in MSN, is almost indexed in Google, and is starting to show up in all the usual places on the net.
What is great to see is that orders are starting to come in via the site via the natural search listings. Not using adwords = more profit which can only be a good thing! I will of course keep you posted and get some stats up here on my return from Portugal.

Just so you all know, I am away in Portugal for a week and will be back on the 20th of June. Until then things may slow down a bit here, it all depends on me getting to a computer out there.

In case any of you were even remotely interested here are my adsense earnings since I started working with the system since last year.
It is worth noting that recently I have diverted my energy to making sites like waterutopia.com and I can only think that this is the reason my adsense earnings stopped going up. I will get back on the case this month and start the climb again. In the meantime, here are the earnings: Read the rest of this entry »

Yeah I know, not strictly SEO stuff but it is yet another service (groan) from Google. They are becoming too diluted and continue to let their search engine fall behind. I use MSN more than Google now! But that’s my opinion. Some info on the product:
Create basic spreadsheets from scratch.
You can start from scratch and do all the basics, including changing the number format, sorting by columns, and adding formulas.
Upload your spreadsheet files.
Upload spreadsheets or worksheets from CSV or XLS format - all your formulas and formatting will come across intact.
Familiar desktop feel makes editing a breeze.
Just click the toolbar buttons to bold, underline, change the font, change the cell background color and more.
Have a look at Google Spreadsheet and see what you think.

Well Waterutopia.com has been online for a couple of weeks now. It has been found by Google (though not fully indexed) and has now been totally eaten by MSN.
I took my time to create and submit a Froogle / Google Base feed as well, though this has yet to bring in any sales. The adwords campaign that I was running did bring in a number of sales though I have now turned it off so that I can really see the impact that the organic listings will have on business within the site. I have read a number of blogs over the past few weeks by people going on about a fantastic new idea they have had for the best website in the world, but they say they don’t want to talk about it because someone may steal their idea!
I have decided to start a new section here on BV that will essentially give you every idea that I have, almost as it spills out of my head. I will detail them as much as I have thought about them and you can then pinch them if you want. Read the rest of this entry »

Well after a few weeks of neglect I decided that seeing as I have started working hard on the Brighton Vibes blog / diary again, I felt that Netdosh.com could do with a bit of a tidy and update as well.
The site now sports a cleaner new look and compact feel that seems to work far better than the previous set up. As originally intended it still has no adwords and will essentially remain an outlet for all the products and articles that I don’t feel should clutter up the main brighton vibes blog.
Please feel free to check out the new Netdosh.com and let me know what you think. Also, don’t forget to check out the netdosh.com/feeder for the round up of all the happenings in the money making world from all of your blogs!

Over the coming posts I plan to break down each of the tools, tricks, places and things that I use to help make money online, complete projects, develop ideas, research results and everything else that comes into my entire online existance to date.
This post is the start of this mission and I will start it by giving you an overview of a few of the items I currently use to help me online. Some of the items are 100% free, others have a ‘free’ version, and the rest is ‘pay for’ stuff, however I will try to cram as many free items into the coming posts as I can. It’s time to get some action going again on the Brighton Vibes blog. Recently I have been making a lame post every few days on here. There is a good reason, I have been spending most my time in the forums on the hotter subjects of todays money making madness, however I have put together a collection of post subjects that I will be writing about on here from now on.
The diary, essentially is about to get back up to speed with more posts and coverage from my daily money making life rather than just brain dumping all that information in the forums. Read the rest of this entry »

Ok, the terms and conditions for adwords has been updated if you have a read. The lines between organic and paid positions are about to blur BIG TIME!
Google are now going to be crawling the “landing” pages / the page that visitors arrive at when clicking an adwords advert. They will use this information to rank the adverts, very much like the organic / natural results that we are already used to.
It will be interesting to see how the PPC companies deal with this change. Will they start creating the landing pages, optimising them, essentially doubling the work they have to do for the ranks? PPC Advertisers are now going to have to learn the organic methods as well? Read the rest of this entry »

As part of my quest to play on ebay with drop shipping I have decided to tie it all in with an online store to increase my chances of sales. I have decided to focus on water as the subject as that opens up the gates to a whole world of products which can be easily taken off into their own sections as required.
One of the key elements I am working into the development of the WaterUtopia.com online store is the SEO changes that will be required to get good rankings for the products. The domain has been live for less than 24 hours and has already been hit by the spiders. Fingers crossed this is a sign of fast indexing about to happen. Read the rest of this entry »

Ok, a little while since an update was made here on the blog. This has mainly be due to the fact that most of my posting is now done in the Brighton Vibes Forums where everyone is hanging out these days.
A few updates that you may be interested in are as follows; The forums have been update with some new features and indeed a spanky new look that so far has got nothing but kind comments from all the members.
Next on the list is the start of dateburn.com and your chance to follow it through to completion via the development blog on the site. To be honest, there is so much that has heppened you are best off just going straight into the forums.
